Tickets are now available for the University of Tartu’s alumni get‑together

The University of Tartu will organise its alumni get-together with the slogan “Back to the university” on 18 May 2024. Early-bird tickets at special rates are available from 1 December.

During the exciting day, our alumni can meet their lecturers and former fellow students, visit familiar study buildings and lecture halls, take part in the university debates at Tartu [pre]opinion Festival and a sing-along, and spend the evening at the grand party in the university’s Sports Hall.

While you cannot turn back the clock, it is still possible to travel back to the past days through memories and reminiscences, said Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Aune Valk. “Whether it is the long days of lectures or sleepless nights preparing for an exam session, wildly funny student days or colourful incidents at lectures – we invite you to recall all these moments, find your study building, and support your alma mater. A ticket to the alumni get-together is also an excellent gift: a chance to meet and reconnect with old friends and to give yourself and your co-students the gift of shared memories and time spent together. Welcome back to the university on 18 May!”

Tickets at the special rate of 25 euros are available until the end of January. By purchasing a ticket, you support the alumni get-together and get access to the party headlined by 2 Quick Start.

The university invites you to donate also to the University of Tartu Seventh Pillar Fund, which aims to support students in their studies and research. When the fund was established, it was named by the then patron of the University of Tartu Foundation, Lennart Meri, who referred to the seventh pillar as the pillar of wisdom. Tickets to the University of Tartu alumni get-together are available in Piletitasku.
